Loved by skiers - Lomnicke sedlo (saddle)
The highest located and steepest slope at Lomnicke sedlo (2,190 m above sea level) will please even the most demanding skiers. A vertical drop of 1,300 m, snow cover for 5 months and year, top modern chairlifts and cable cars together with wider slopes guarantee the best experiences on a top-class 6,5 km-long carving track, which can be up to 60 m wide.
Non-demanding skiers will find the best place for them in the resort of Stary Smokovec - Hrebienok or Jakubkova luka. Four of the five slopes can be reached by our funicular from Hrebienok. This most visited tourist centre offers favourable skipasses valid for the particular resort only.
Try popular attraction is sledging along the 2,5 km-long lit until late at night track from Hrebienok to Stary Smokovec. Do you feel like learning skiin or teaching your kids how to ski? A professional team of ski school instructors offers lessons even for the very beginners. The resort of the High Tatras - Stary Smokovec is an ideal starting point for winter hiking to alpine chalets and beautiful frozen waterfalls.
The ski resort is located in the Dolny Smokovec Pod lesom in the quiet area of the High Tatras 10 km from Poprad. A medium-difficult slope with a length of 400 m with a total elevation of 50m is available to visitors.
Slope is mechanically adjusted throughout the ski season (December to end of March). Ski slope is for less experienced skiers, beginners and children. For less experienced skiers skiing courses are provided. Free parking and toilet is just 20 meters from the top station. You can buy snacks in the cafeteria at the valley station.

Ski resort dolina is located near the town Svit from which is 3 km south of the national road E 18. The resort lies at an altitude of 777 m above sea level (bottom station) with an elevation of up to 916 m above sea level (top station). Trails are located on the north east on grassy terrain - grazing in forest zone. The quality of pistes in the resort is provided by artificial snow, including regular mechanical maintenance runs. The center is located in front of parking lot entrance to the ski area. There are 4 lifts Tatrapoma, including two ski lifts for beginners. The maximum transport capacity lifts is 2300 persons/hour. Lifts and length from 150 meters to 700 m. There are three cafeterias, fast-food, rental of ski equipment, ski service, ski school and th ice natural area measurint 24 m x 14 m. Lifts are open daily from 8.30 AM to 4:30 PM and night skiing is from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
